Vanier College offers a 14-month program called LEA.8F: Software Development. This program prepares students to write, modify, integrate, and test computer code for software applications. Students also learn how to consult with customers about software system design and maintenance.

The program includes an internship that provides students with Canadian work experience. Students learn how to modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve its performance.
